I'll Always Have You to Hold, and that's All I Need to Know

Happy First Anniversary to my favorite guy!

Okay, okay...maybe I'm a little late actually blogging about our first anniversary, which took place on May 13th 2014, but I promise I did celebrate it right on time. Chris even remembered too. ;)

As I sit back and take the time to reflect on the past year of my life, I'm so thankful for the person that I have become. If I hadn't met Chris and fallen in love with him, I wouldn't have had someone to constantly help refine me into the lady I am today.

How lucky and blessed am I to have someone in my life who is so driven and willing to work so hard to provide for our future? Christopher is one of the greatest men I have ever met, and I'm not just saying that because he's mine.
He'll probably be embarrassed when he reads this post, but I have to brag on him.

He's so smart and funny, kind and thoughtful, tough and gentle and the same time.

For our anniversary we just took a little trip to Anniston and had an early dinner at Cheaha Brewing Company after doing a little exploring on Noble Street. It was such a perfect afternoon.

When we got home that evening, we took a ton of candles down to my parent's pond at Lazy B Farm and sat under the stars and listened to the frogs. It was a memorable first anniversary for sure.

And as far as presents go...which I know everybody wants to know about....

Chris got me some really cute Lilly Pulitzer tervis-style tumblers and an adorable travel coffee mug which can both be purchased at Dillard's or online at this link and this link.

A few days later he purchased me these gorgeous boots that I've been lusting over forever from Country Outfitter. I'll be posting a review of them later, but for now if you're interested in purchasing them, you can snag them for less than $300 right here

And I had to save the best for last, just because I'm obsessed with the gift I gave Christopher.
He works so hard and I know Alabama summers are killer, so I thought-what could be better than a cooler for our anniversary?

I got him the Yeti 35 cooler that can be purchased here!

Once again, I'll be doing a separate post on this, reviewing the cooler as well as giving you ladies an idea of how I put together the cooler as a gift basket for my guy!

In all honesty, we all know it's not about the gifts. It's about celebrating how much we love each other and how blessed we are to have each other. I can't wait to see what happens in the next year and I cannot wait to celebrate each anniversary with him for the rest of our lives.

Love you so much, sweetheart!

xoxo, jordyn
